COVER DESIGN
We have all heard not to judge a book by its cover, but when it comes to dealing with those who do, you better be ready. The cover is the single most important design decision that is made to improve the marketability of a book. Something eye catching, relevant and powerful. A great cover is not soon forgotten.

eBOOK CONVERSION, DESIGN AND DEPLOYMENT
The electronic book is growing exponentially thanks to the success of devices such as as the Amazon Kindle and the Apple iPad. But it is still early in the game and there are a variety of formats to deal with, including ePub, Kindle, Mobi and Lit among others. Amalgam Studio will convert your manuscript and format it according to each electronic book store’s standards. We will then deploy the file on these services through our publishing contracts with each store. Finished manuscript to being on sale in an electronic book store can happen in as little as two weeks.
BOOK DESIGN AND DEPLOYMENT
Sometimes there is no replacement for a good paper book in your hands. While all the growth in the publishing industry is happening in eBooks, printed books remain at least 90% of all books sold. Our studio has worked on many different types of printed matter, from a 10 inch full color coffee table book to a US Trade 6 x 9 inch hardcover book. Our printers specialize in using sustainable paper and inks, so our environmental footprint can be as small as possible.
BOOK ILLUSTRATION
Many books can reveal more information and interest by augmenting the text with graphics. Examples include illustrated chapter markers, graphs, character sketches, maps, forms, false documents. The author’s imagination is the only limit.
MANUSCRIPT EDITING
A finished manuscript is one that has passed through many sets of eyes. No author is perfect and no one should be expected to achieve that level of quality by themselves. Our team will scrub each manuscript for errors, both written and technical.
